Measuring What Matters

When it comes to Fosters, it is clear that a problem not measured is a problem not seen by the child welfare system. Research allows us to collect and elevate the lived experiences of Fosters across the state and use data to move systems. We aim to democratize data, shift the stories being told about Fosters, and elevate critical questions about the child welfare system.

Ongoing: SOGIE CSP Workgroup

Emerging from our 2021-22 LGBTQ2S+ Leaders, we have engaged with a cross-department SOGIE workgroup to address best policies and practices related to this data in child welfare.
